2.13.005 - Office created.¶
There is established in the County a separate county department known as the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

2.13.010 - Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.¶
The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors shall be appointed by the County Administrative Officer as provided by Government Code Section 25100.5.

2.13.020 - Duties.¶
Under administrative direction of the County Administrative Officer, the Clerk of the Board shall have those powers and duties specifically prescribed by law and such additional powers and duties as are specifically assigned by the County Administrative Officer. The Clerk of the Board shall manage the daily operation of the Clerk of the Board Office, such as agenda creation and review, recording and maintenance of ordinances, resolutions and other official County records, facilitating public access to agendas, documents and other records relevant to the business of the Board of Supervisors and in compliance with regulations and state law governing public access; develop and administer Office budget; establish goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the Clerk of the Board Office; direct and review the work of Clerk of the Board Office staff; and perform other duties as assigned.
