2.68.010 - Authority for chapter.¶
This chapter is enacted pursuant to the provisions of Sections 830.6 and 832.6 of the Penal Code, as amended.

2.68.020 - Level I reserve officers.¶
Persons issued a Level I reserve officer certificate by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, prior to January 1, 1981, and determined by the sheriff to be qualified to perform general law enforcement duties, by reason of training and experience, shall have peace officer powers within the county, as provided by Section 830.1 of the Penal Code.

2.68.030 - List of qualified officers.¶
On or before January 1, 1981, the sheriff shall submit to the board of supervisors a complete list of persons who meet the qualifications under Section 2.68.020.
