Imperial County Municipal Code Ch. 2.44 Public Works Director

The office of public works director is created; and the duties of road commissioner combined within this office. That portion of the salary payable to the public works director attributable to duties required of the road commissioner shall be separately established for the purpose of charging the same against apportionments made pursuant to Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code. Any authority and duties prescribed for the position of county engineer shall likewise be deemed to be vested in the public works director.
