2.12.010 - Establishment of separate office of clerk of the board of supervisors.

Pursuant to Section 25100.5 of the Government Code, the separate office of clerk of the board of supervisors is established.

2.12.020 - Appointment and duties.

The clerk of the board of supervisors shall be appointed as are other appointive officers. The clerk of the board shall perform those duties prescribed by law and such additional duties as may be prescribed by the board of supervisors.

2.12.030 - Other responsibilities.

The clerk of the board of supervisors shall serve as the clerk of the Imperial County Board of Equalization. Said clerk shall, pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, Title 18, Section 323(b), be delegated the authority to make decisions on the postponement of tax appeal hearings.
