CP 260 - Credit Reversal Adjustment Notice

CP 260 is generated to tell the taxpayer of a credit reversal on the tax module. The notice generates under the following conditions:

The resulting module balance is a debit of ≡ ≡ ≡ ≡ or more.

The credit reversal does not cause a recomputation or assessment of penalties resulting in the generation of CP 210 or 220 adjustment notice (FTF, FTD, ES or decreased FTP penalties).
