Balance due or will become balance due and another notice will generate and the notice is reviewed before LCF cutoff (Thursdays at 12 PM Local Time)

Delete the refund using CC NOREF.

Using NRP97 add the data to the LCF and in the following cycle void the resulting adjustment notice. See IRM 3.14.2.5.4.1, CC NRP97 Input Information.

In OLNR, retype the notice as appropriate to include the pending transactions and update interest and penalties.

Balance due and a another notice will generate and the notice is reviewed after LCF cutoff (Thursdays at 12 PM Local Time)

Delete the refund if applicable using CC NOREF.

Notify the lead the notice must be held until all transactions have posted.

Once all transactions have posted, retype the notice in OLNR to include all posted transactions and correct interest, penalties, and balance due.

Apply Label 13 to the retyped notice so the taxpayer knows the previously sent notice information was inaccurate.
