12.78.010 - Operation of vehicles on slopes, cuts or fills prohibited.¶

No person shall operate a vehicle on a slope, cut or fill on a County road right of way where the slope exceeds three to one. A slope of three to one is a slope which has a rise or fall of one foot in a horizontal distance of three feet. This Section shall not apply to officers, employees, agents or contractors of the County of Monterey engaged in work on the County roads and highways.
