12.52.010 - Unlawful to operate in County cemetery.

A. For purposes of this Section, "motorcycle" means a motorcycle or motor driven cycle as defined in Sections 400 and 405 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California.

B. It is unlawful for any person to operate, drive, ride or maneuver a motorcycle on that property belonging to the County of Monterey and known as the Monterey County cemetery, said property being at the southeast corner of the intersection of Natividad Road and East Laurel Drive in the City of Salinas.

C. This regulation shall not apply to the operation of emergency vehicles or maintenance vehicles owned by any public body or public utility.

D. The ordinance codified in this Section is adopted pursuant to the provisions of Section 21113 of the Motor Vehicle Code of the State of California and violations of said code Section and penalties for said violations shall be those established by said code.
