Chapter 11.44 — LOAD LIMITS

11.44.010 - Old Sutter Hill Road—Twenty-eight thousand pounds.¶

No vehicle, or combination of vehicles, shall be operated or driven over Old Sutter Hill Road, from said road's intersection with Ridge Road at Sutter Hill on the south to its intersection with State Sign Route Number 49 on the north, the gross weight of which said vehicle, or combination of vehicles, exceeds twenty-eight thousand pounds.

The weight limit established in this section shall be posted by appropriate signs upon such roadway within the city.

11.44.020 - Load limits—Six thousand pounds.¶

No vehicle, or combination of vehicles, excluding delivery vehicles or pickups under California Vehicle Code Section 35703, shall be used, operated, maintained or driven upon or over those certain roads within the city as recommended by the city engineer and adopted by resolution.
