15-54 Employment Lists
As soon as possible after the completion of an examination, the personnel director shall prepare and maintain an employment list consisting of the names of candidates who qualified in the examination. (Res. No. 7-7-87- 2, Rule VI, (part).)
15-55 Duration Of Lists
- Employment lists, other than those from a continuous examination, shall remain in effect for not more than one year after the last administration of the examination. The city manager, however, may declare the list “exhausted.”
- Open-competitive lists from continuous examinations shall remain in effect for not more than one year after the last administration of the examination. The city manager, however, may declare the list “exhausted.” (Res. No. 7-7-87-2, Rule IV, (part).)
15-56 Removal Of Names From List
The city manager shall remove the name of the person appearing on an employment, reemployment or promotional list if the eligible person requests in writing that the name be removed. The city manager shall notify the person of the removal of the name by mail to the last known address. The names of persons on promotional employment lists who resign from the service shall automatically be dropped from such lists. (Res. No. 7-7-87-2, Rule VI, (part).)
