Chapter 13 — FUEL GAS PIPING

1314.0 Required Gas Supply. 1314.1 General. The following regulations, shall comply

with this section and Section 1315.0, shall be the standard for the installation of gas piping. Natural gas regulations and tables are based on the use of gas having a specific gravity of 0.60 and for undiluted liquefied petroleum gas having a specific gravity of 1.50.

Where gas of a different specific gravity is to be delivered, the serving gas supplier shall be permitted to be contacted for specific gravity conversion factors to use in sizing piping systems from the pipe sizing tables in this chapter.
