2.16.010 - Clerk of the board of supervisors department—Recognition.

There is in the county a clerk of the board of supervisors department, hereafter in this chapter referred to as the department.

2.16.020 - Executive officer.

The executive officer of the department is the clerk, board of supervisors, appointed by the board supervisor.

2.16.030 - Powers and duties.

The clerk, board of supervisors, shall perform the duties prescribed by state law, County Charter, and ordinances not inconsistent therewith, which duties shall include, but not by way of limitation:

A. To attend and keep minutes of all meetings of the board;

B. To prepare board resolutions;

C. To receive and file all petitions to the board;

D. To keep a record of all ordinances adopted by the board;

E. To prepare and publish all required notices;

F. To act as clerk of the assessment appeals board and assessment appeals board administrator;

G. To perform all other duties required by the board of supervisors.
