Business units must comply with FTR Bulletin 10-06, Guidance for Sustainable Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel Policies and Practices, and maximize travel cost savings by utilizing green meeting strategies for event hosting (for example: use of video conferences and web-based tools in lieu of travel).

The purpose and description and the impact of not having the meeting will be furnished to Treasury for any meeting event with estimated costs of $50,000 and above. Detailed itemization of the meeting and travel expenses may include but is not limited to local and non-local travel costs, Audiovisual equipment costs and facility costs.
