10.48.010. Penalties. 10.48.020 Disposition of fines and forfeitures.¶
10.48.010 Penalties. Any person violating any of the provisions of this title, or any rule or regulation made by the chief of police pursuant thereto, is guilty of a misdemeanor or an infraction, and punishable as provided in Section 1.04.010 hereof. (Ord. 323 §2, 1972; prior code §3626).
10.48.020 Disposition of fines and forfeitures. All fines or forfeitures collected upon conviction, or upon the forfeiture of bail, of any person charged with a violation of any of the provisions of this title, or collected under the provisions of California Penal Code Section 1463 and Vehicle Code Section 42200, as amended from time to time, shall be paid into the town treasury and deposited in a special fund to be known as the "Traffic Safety Fund", and shall be used exclusively for the purposes set forth in Vehicle Code Section 42200, as amended from time to time. (Ord. 274 §1, 1968: prior code §3627).
