10.36.010 Dibblee Road.

10.36.010 Dibblee Road. The prima facie speed limit upon Dibblee Road, commencing at the gates of the Natalie Coffin Greene Park and extending to the parking area within the park, is fifteen miles per hour, and any speed in excess of this limit is prima facie unlawful, unless the defendant establishes by competent evidence that such speed in excess did not constitutes a violation of the basic speed law set forth in the California Vehicle Code. (Ord. 269 §1, 1967: prior code §3611.5).

10.36.015 Decrease of local limits. It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that the limit of sixty-five miles per hour is more than is reasonable and safe upon the following streets or portions thereof. Therefore it is declared that the prima facie speed shall be as set forth in this section on those streets or portions of streets designated in this section when signs are erected giving notice thereof.

10.36.020 Increase of local limits. It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that a speed greater that twenty-five miles per hour will facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and will be reasonable and safe upon the following streets or portions thereof which otherwise would be subject to a prima facie limit of twenty-five miles per hour. Therefore it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets or portions of streets designated in this section when signs are erected giving notice thereof.

10.36.030 Decrease of local limits near schools or senior centers.
