10.40.010 Driving from alleys. The operator of a vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway or garage shall stop the vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or onto the sidewalk area extended across any alleyway. (Prior code §3609).
10.40.020 Crossing fire hose.1 No vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of the fire department when laid down on any street or private driveway to be used at any fire or alarm of fire, without the consent of the fire chief or the designated person in command. (Ord. 728 (part), 2025; Prior code §3612).
10.40.030 Funeral processions. It is unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive between the vehicles comprising a funeral procession, provided that the vehicles are conspicuously so designated. (Prior code §3615).
10.40.040 Clinging to moving vehicles. It is unlawful for any person traveling upon any bicycle, motorcycle or any toy vehicle to cling to or attach themselves or their vehicle to any other moving vehicle upon any roadway. (Ord. 728 (part), 2025; Prior code §3616).
10.40.050 Coasters, roller skates, etc. It is unlawful for any person upon roller skates or riding in or by means of any coaster, toy vehicle or similar device to go upon any roadway. (Prior code §3617).
10.40.060 Horses on sidewalks. It is unlawful for any person to ride or drive, or to cause or permit to be ridden or driven, any horse or other animal upon or along the sidewalks of any street, avenue, road or lane in the town. (Prior code §3625).
10.40.070 Parking vehicles for sale. It is unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park the same upon any street for the principal purpose of displaying it for sale, or to park any vehicle upon any street from which the vehicle merchandise is being sold. (Ord. 326 §1, 1972; prior code §3622).
