§ 2.26.010. Establishment.

There is established a board of appeals of the city.

§ 2.26.020. Composition.

The board of appeals shall consist of 10 to 15 members appointed by the city council for overlapping four-year terms. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms. § 2.26.030. Responsibilities.

  • A. Serves as an advisory body to the city council with respect to construction, building, code enforcement, or similar matters.

  • B. Reviews matters as provided under the Uniform Building and Housing Codes.

  • C. Serves as a pool of hearing examiners for the purpose of formation of each ad hoc hearing examiner panel as provided herein.
