§ 2.10. City manager's duties and authority.

The City manager shall supervise the administrative affairs of the City. The City manager shall be charged with the preservation of the public peace and health, the safety of persons and properties, the enforcement of law, and the development and utilization of the City's resources. The City manager shall keep the council informed of the condition and needs of the City and shall make such reports and recommendations as the City manager may deem desirable and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by this charter or required by ordinance or resolution of the council not inconsistent with this charter. The City manager shall have the right to take part in the discussion of all matters coming before the council but not the right to vote. (Amended by General Municipal Election on November 2, 2010)
