Section 5.126 Monies to Be Paid into Fund. 5.127 Expenditures from Fund.
Sec. 5.125. Creation of the Fund.¶
To comply with the provisions of Article 5 of Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code, with particular reference to the amendments made thereto by Chapter 642, Statutes of 1935, there is hereby created in the City Treasury a special fund to be known as the “Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund”, hereinafter referred to in this article as the “Fund”.

Sec. 5.126. Monies to Be Paid into Fund.¶
All monies received by the City from the State under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interests therein, or the construction, maintenance, or improvement of streets of major importance within the City, other than State highways, as are agreed upon by the State Department of Public Works and the legislative body of the City shall be paid into said fund.

Sec. 5.127. Expenditures from Fund.¶
All monies in said fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code.
