Sec. 5.340. Creation and Administration of the Fund.

(a) In compliance with Section 711 of the Charter, there is hereby created within the Treasury of the City of Los Angeles a special trust fund known as the “City Ethics Commission Fund,” hereinafter referred to as the “Fund.”

(b) The Fund shall be administered by the City Ethics Commission or its designee in accordance with established City practice.

(c) There shall be placed in the Fund all appropriations to finance any of the operations of the City Ethics Commission.

(d) All salaries and other expenses of the City Ethics Commission shall be paid from the Fund. No expenditure shall be made from the Fund for any purpose which is contrary to the budget policy of the City Ethics Commission, as established by the Mayor and Council.
