2.50.010 - Holding period.

Unclaimed property in possession of the police department of the city shall be held by the police department for a period of at least six months.

2.50.020 - Sale—Public auction.

After the six-month period designated in Section 2.50.010, the property described in said section will be sold at a public auction to the highest bidder.

2.50.030 - Sale—Notice.

Notice of the sale required by Section 2.50.020 shall be given by the chief of police at least five days before the time fixed thereon by publication one time in the Calexico Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation.
