Chapter 12 — FUEL GAS PIPING

1212.1 Connecting Appliances and Equipment.

Appliances and equipment shall be connected to the building piping in compliance with Section 1212.5 through Section 1212.8 by one of the following: (1) Rigid metallic pipe and fittings. (2) Semirigid metallic tubing and metallic fittings. Aluminum

alloy tubing shall not be used in exterior locations.

the connector is attached to the building piping. (2) The connector shall be of minimum length and shall

not exceed 6 feet (1829 mm).

(2) This connection shall be made only in the outdoor
