Chapter 10.28 — ONE-WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS

Whenever any ordinance or resolution of the city council designates any one-way street or alley, the city traffic engineer shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof and no such regulation shall be effective unless the signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movements of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited. When the authorized signs or markings are in place on any street or part of a street giving such notice, then no person shall drive any vehicle in any direction except as authorized by such signs.
