5-3-1: SHORT TITLE:¶
This chapter may be cited as the TAFT MECHANICAL CODE. (Ord. 696-02, 10-1-2002)
5-3-2: APPLICATION OF CODE:¶
The Taft Mechanical Code shall apply to new construction, relocated buildings and to any alterations, repairs or reconstruction of buildings in the incorporated territory of the City of Taft. (Ord. 696-02, 10-1-2002)
5-3-3: ADOPTION OF CODE:¶
These regulations known as the "California Mechanical Code," 2025 Edition, California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 4, which incorporate by adoption the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code, with necessary California amendments, including all appendices, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is hereby adopted and made part of this Chapter by reference with the same force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
