5-14-1: SHORT TITLE:¶
This chapter may be cited as the TAFT ENERGY CODE. (Ord. 826-17, 6-20-2017)
5-14-2: APPLICATION OF CODE:¶
The Taft Energy Code shall apply to all new construction, additions and alterations within the City. (Ord. 826-17, 6-20-2017; amd. Ord. 834-20, 1-20-2020; Ord. 851-23, 1-17-2023; Ord. 855-25, 12-16-2025)
5-14-3: ADOPTION OF CODE:¶
These regulations known as the "California Energy Code," 2025 Edition, California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 6, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and made part of this Chapter by reference with the same force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
