5-16-1: SHORT TITLE:¶
This chapter may be cited as the TAFT EXISTING BUILDING CODE. (Ord. 826-17, 6-20-2017)
5-16-2: APPLICATION OF CODE:¶
The Taft Existing Building Code shall apply to repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition to and relocation of all existing buildings within the City. (Ord. 826-17, 6-20-2017)
5-16-3: ADOPTION OF CODE:¶
These regulations known as the "California Existing Building Code," 2025 Edition, California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 10, which incorporate by adoption the 2024 International Existing Building Code, with necessary California amendments, including all appendices and resources, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and made part of this Chapter by reference with the same force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
