5-10-1: SHORT TITLE:¶
This chapter may be cited as the TAFT BUILDING CONSERVATION CODE. (Ord. 696-02, 10-1-2002)
5-10-2: APPLICATION OF CODE:¶
The Taft building conservation code shall apply to the construction, erection, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, improvement, removing, conversion, demolition, land use and occupancy of every existing building and structure in the incorporated territory of the city of Taft, excepting those exempted therefrom. (Ord. 696-02, 10-1-2002)
5-10-3: ADOPTION OF CODE:¶
The 2001 California Code For Building Conservation, with appendices, based on the 1997 uniform code of conservation (sponsored and copyright by the International Conference of Building Officials), is adopted by reference into the Taft building conservation code. (Ord. 696-02, 10-1-2002)
