1803.8 Review.

Before issuing a permit for a building where soil and foundation investigation

is required, the Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineer in responsible charge of the soil investigation shall state in writing (must be signed and stamped):

1. The plans and specifications substantially conform to the recommendations in
the soil investigation.
2. The Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineer in responsible charge of the soil
investigation has been retained to provide soil site observation and provide
periodic and final reports to the city.
