Marin County Municipal Code Ch. 3.56 Fees Charged by Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office

(a) Findings. A public hearing was conducted pursuant to Government Code Section 54986 to determine the cost of processing unpaid negotiable paper presented to the treasurer-tax collector on the 11th day of August, 1992. On the basis of the evidence presented at the hearing this board finds and determines that the cost is not less than thirty dollars for each such transaction.

(b) Imposition of Fee. A fee in the amount of thirty dollars is hereby imposed to cover the cost of collection of any unpaid negotiable paper presented to the office of the treasurer-tax collector.
