The following specific regulations and the general rules set forth in Article XIII shall apply in all M-1 Districts. It is intended that this district classification be applied in areas suitable for wholesale, bulk, storage, industrial services, manufacturing, processing, packing and other commercial activities to serve the community and to provide for the development of commercial, industrial and service facilities concentrated in well planned areas properly located in relation to utilities, access, topography and residential uses. A. Uses Permitted: Ordinance No 306

(1) Manufacturing, processing, distribution, transportation, utility and warehousing activities. (2) Any normal industrial and manufacturing use, providing such use is not noxious, dangerous or offensive by reason of emission of odor, dust, smoke, gas, noise, flame or vibration and is not deleterious to the public health, safety or general welfare. B. Minimum Height, Bulk and Space Requirements: (1) LOT AREA: none. (2) LOT WIDTH: none. (3) MAXIMUM BUILDING COVERAGE: none. (4) FRONT YARD: none. (5) SIDE YARD: none. (6) REAR YARD: none. (7) AUTOMOBILE PARKING: (a) One off-street parking space for each employee on each major shift and one off-street parking space for each 200 square feet of floor sales area. (b) One off-street loading space for each 5,000 square feet of floor and open storage area. (8) BUILDING HEIGHT LIMIT: not to exceed 60 feet.
