10.56.010 - Consent to marking of vehicles—Unlawful removal of traffic enforcement marking.

A. Any person stopping or parking a vehicle within a public parking lane or right-of-way or a public parking (stall) is deemed to have granted his or her consent to the marking of said vehicle in a nonpermanent manner for the purpose of establishing or confirming that the vehicle is stopped and/or parked in compliance with the provisions of this chapter.

B. Any person removing the marking described in subsection A above, other than by removing the vehicle completely from said parking stall or stopped location by moving it into public traffic lanes, shall be guilty of an infraction.
