10.52.010 - Disposition of fines and forfeitures.

The city's share of fines or forfeitures collected by the county upon conviction or upon the forfeiture of bail of any person charged with a violation of any of the provisions of Chapters 10.12, 10.16, 10.24, and 10.32 through 10.44 shall be apportioned to the traffic safety fund.

10.52.020 - Appropriation for signs and signals.

There may be appropriated out of the fund referred to in Section 10.52.010 such moneys as from time to time may be authorized by the council for the purchase and maintenance of official traffic signs, signals, lights and paint marks necessary to designate the provisions of this title.

10.52.030 - Use of balance of fund.

The balance of the traffic safety fund shall be used in the construction, maintenance and improvement of public streets within this city or other purposes as may be directed by the council.
