14-17.201 Number of off-street parking spaces required.

The number of off-street parking spaces required for each of the following uses within residential districts, except as provided in Article 3 of this chapter, shall be as follows:

(a) Residential.

* Dens shall be considered bedrooms.

* Single-family dwelling unit.

* Studio units shall be considered as one-bedroom dwelling units.

* Multi-family includes apartments, townhouses, condominiums, and cooperatives.

(b) Guest Parking. Except for the R-1 Districts and duplexes on a single lot, guest parking shall be at the following ratio:

(1) One space per four (4) bedrooms in projects from one to seventy-five (75) dwelling units;

(2) One space per six (6) bedrooms in projects from seventy-six (76) to 125 dwelling units; and

(3) One space per eight (8) bedrooms in projects where there are more than 125 dwelling units.
