6.44.010 Limitations on Number of

Animals in Residential Setting 6.44.010. Limitations on Number of Animals in Residential Setting Notwithstanding any other provisions of title 6, each residential household is restricted to the following number of pets: A. For single family detached houses, no more than a combination of three dogs and cats maximum, two rabbits maximum, and no more than three domestic birds or fowl, guinea pigs or any other rodent species, no more than two snakes or other similar animals are permitted. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no more than five animals (other than dogs or cats) are permitted for each single family residence. B. For multiple family residences, including mobile homes in mobilehome parks, no more than one dog, one rabbit, two cats, two domestic birds, two guinea pigs or other rodents, two snakes or other reptiles are permitted. The total number of animals in one multiple family residence may not exceed four animals. (Ord 546 § 1, 1995)
