6.10.005 - Preamble.¶
This board of supervisors is concerned over frequent complaints concerning annoying and disruptive behavior by individuals in conjunction with the consumption of alcoholic beverages in downtown Bolinas, and desires to seek to ameliorate this problem by limiting such consumption.

6.10.010 - Prohibitions.¶
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited within the following areas of the unincorporated community Bolinas, Marin County:
(1) The entire length of Wharf Road from its intersection with Brighton Avenue to its terminus at the beach adjacent to the mouth of Bolinas Lagoon;
(2) The entire length of Brighton Avenue from its intersection with Wharf Road to its terminus at Bolinas Beach;
(3) Park Avenue where it encompasses the County Park;
(4) The County Park and adjacent areas that are bordered by Park and Brighton Avenues.

6.10.020 - Violation—Infraction.¶
Pursuant to the provisions of Business and Professions Code Section 25620, any person possessing any can, bottle, or other receptacle containing an alcoholic beverage which has been partially removed, in any of the areas described in Section 6.10.010 shall he guilty of an infraction.

6.10.030 - Suspension of provisions.¶
The provisions of this chapter may be suspended by the board of supervisors for periods of time observing town celebrations, carnivals and other appropriate events.
