Chapter 50 of the California Fire Code (CFC) is hereby adopted by reference with the following exceptions, modifications, and additions.

SEC. 57.5001.5. PERMITS.

Permits shall be required as set forth in Sections 57.105.6, 57.105.7, 57.120, and 57.121. When required by the Fire Code Official, permittees shall apply for approval to permanently close a storage, use or handling facility. Such application shall be submitted at least 30 days prior to the termination of the storage, use or handling of hazardous materials. The Fire Code Official is authorized to require that the application be accompanied by an approved facility closure plan in accordance with Section 57.5001.6.3.
