10.16.150 - Generally.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code and in addition to the loading zones established under Section 10.16.010 of this chapter, there are established loading zones for the unincorporated area of the county at the locations described in this article for the loading and unloading of passengers and merchandise.

10.16.155 - Placement and maintenance of signs and markings.

As used in this article, "road commissioner" shall also mean the director of roads for the county, who shall be responsible for the placement and maintenance of the appropriate signs and for causing the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of the loading zones designated herein.

10.16.160 - Bakersfield area.

The following loading zones are established near the city of Bakersfield:

  1. South side of China Grade Loop frontage road from Bedford Way sixty (60) feet west.

  2. East side of Mount Vernon Avenue from a point where the south curbline of Flower Street extended intersects the east curbline of Mount Vernon Avenue north one hundred (100) feet.

  3. On the north side of Wilson Avenue between a point where said north side of Wilson Avenue intersects with the west side of Chester Avenue and a point one hundred eighty-one (181) feet west thereof along Wilson Avenue, except the easterly one hundred four (104) feet thereof.

  4. A loading zone on the east side of Mt. Vernon Avenue, beginning at the southeasterly curb return with East California Avenue, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, that portion of the highway being the east side of alley that is north of Decatur Street and ninety-six (96) feet west of Chester Avenue, beginning where said east side of alley intersects with north side of Decatur Street and a point seventy-five (76) feet north thereof along the alley, is established as a loading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in this paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" between eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, is guilty of an infraction.

  3. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, that portion of the highway along the south side of Pico Avenue beginning at a point one hundred eighty-eight and one-half (188.5) feet west of the southwest curb return at its intersection with Oswell Street, thence westerly a distance of one hundred forty (140) feet is established as a five (5) minute loading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" for more than a five (5) minute period between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Sundays and holidays, is guilty of an infraction.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading zone.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, that portion along the north side of Minner Avenue beginning at a point two hundred fifty (250) feet east of the easterly gutter line of California Street, thence easterly a distance of thirty-five (35) feet is established as a loading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or depositing mail, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" is guilty of an infraction.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading zones.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, that portion of the highway on the east side of Park Drive beginning one hundred eighty (180) feet south of the southeast curb return with Foothill Drive, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred fifty-two (152) feet, is established as a loading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" is guilty of an infraction.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading zone.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, on the south side of Pico Avenue, beginning on the southeast curb return of Edwards Avenue on Pico Avenue, thence easterly for a distance of three hundred sixty (360) feet to the true point of beginning, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred eighty (180) feet, is established as a five (5) minute loading zone between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m. with the exception of Sundays and holidays, for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" is guilty of an infraction.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading zones.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established on that portion of the north side of Quincy Drive near the campus of East Bakersfield High School described as follows: beginning at a point fifty (50) feet easterly of the northeast curb return of Quincy Drive on Mt. Vernon Avenue, thence easterly for a distance of two hundred fifty-five (255) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any portions of the street described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as a "bus loading zone" between the hours of seven-thirty (7:30) a.m. and three-thirty (3:30) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs so as to give notice of the regulations provided by this section.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a passenger loading and unloading zone for emergency vehicles only is established on that portion of the south side of Water Street beginning at the southwest curb return of Nelson Street on Water Street, thence westerly along the south curb of Water Street for a distance of forty-two (42) feet to the true point of beginning, thence westerly for a distance of twenty-two (22) feet.

b. Any person who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any portions of the street described in paragraph (a) of this subsection, except for passenger loading and unloading for emergency vehicles, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading and unloading zones.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, beginning at the northwest curb return of Decatur Street on North Chester Avenue, thence northerly for a distance of forty-five (45) feet to the true point of beginning, thence northerly for a distance of twenty-one (21) feet, is established as a loading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading zone.

  3. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a passenger and freight loading and unloading zone beginning at the extension of the east curb of Orange Drive with the north curb of Flower Street, thence easterly for a distance of thirty-seven (37) feet to the true point of beginning, thence easterly for a distance of forty-four (44) feet, is established as a thirty (30) minute loading and unloading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading and unloading zone.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established beginning at the southeast curb return of Wood Lane at Lymric Way, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred eighty (180) feet to the true point of beginning, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred thirty (130) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any portions of the street described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as a "bus loading zone" between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs so as to give notice of said bus loading zone.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 21458 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established beginning at the southwest curb return of Fairview Road at Sparks Street, thence westerly along the south curb for a distance of one hundred thirty-nine (139) feet to the true point of beginning, thence westerly for a distance of one hundred five (105) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion of the street described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading zone" between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, is guilty of an infraction.

  3. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a passenger and freight loading and unloading zone on the north side of Minner Avenue beginning at a point two hundred seventy-seven (277) feet east of the easterly flowline of California Street, thence easterly for a distance of seventy (70) feet is established as a three (3) minute loading and unloading zone for that portion of the unincorporated area of the County.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as "loading and unloading zone" is guilty of an infraction.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established on Casa Loma Drive at Casa Loma School, beginning at the southwest curb return with Madison Street, thence westerly for a distance of three hundred ninety (390) feet to the true point of beginning, thence westerly for a distance of one hundred sixty-four (164) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks, or leave standing a vehicle adjacent to the curb on any portions of the street described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading zone" between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, is guilty of an infraction.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established on Oswell Street south of Center Street at Sierra Junior High School, beginning at the southwest curb return on Center Street, thence southerly for a distance of two hundred sixty-five (265) feet to the true point of beginning, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred sixty-one (161) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle adjacent to the curb on any portions of the street described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as a "bus loading zone" between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, is guilty of an infraction.

  1. In addition to the bus loading zones established under Section 10.16.010 of this chapter, there are established the following bus loading zones for the unincorporated areas of the county and at the locations hereinafter described, prohibiting at all hours at such locations the parking, standing, or stopping of vehicles other than public passenger buses, while engaged in the taking on or discharging of passengers:

a. The east side of Mount Vernon Avenue from a point one hundred ten (110) feet north of where the south curbline of Flower Street extended intersects the east curbline of Mount Vernon Avenue north for fifty (50) feet;

b. Beginning at the extension of the west gutter line of Wible Road with the centerline of Panama Lane, thence north along Wible Road for a distance of nine hundred twenty (920) feet to the true point of beginning, thence northerly for a distance of forty (40) feet;

c. (Repealed);

d. Beginning at the southwest curb return of Friant Drive on Rio Bravo Drive, thence southerly along the west curb of Rio Bravo Drive for a distance of one hundred thirty-seven (137) feet to the true point of beginning, thence southerly for eighty-five (85) feet;

e. (Repealed);

f. On North Chester Avenue, beginning at northeast curb with Roberts Lane, thence northerly for a distance of one hundred four (104) feet;

g. On North Chester Avenue, beginning at southwest curb with Roberts Lane, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred thirty-two (132) feet;

h. On Foothill Drive beginning at the southeast curb return with Park Drive, thence easterly for a distance of two hundred twelve (212) feet;

i. Bus loading zone on the south side of Feliz Drive beginning two hundred forty-six (246) feet east of the southeast curb return on Cottonwood Road, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

  1. Effective between the hours of seven-thirty (7:30) a.m. to four (4:00) p.m. with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the parking, standing or stopping of vehicles other than public passenger buses while engaged in the taking on or discharging of passengers is prohibited in the following bus loading zones:

a. Beginning at the northeast curb return of Stockton Avenue at China Grade Loop, thence northerly along the east curb of Stockton Avenue for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

  1. Effective between the hours of eight (8:00) a.m. and four (4:00) p.m. with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the parking, standing, or stopping of vehicles other than public passenger buses while engaged in the taking on or discharging of passengers is prohibited in the following bus loading zones:

a. On Pico Street beginning at the southwest curb return with Oswell Street; thence westerly for a distance of one hundred eighty-eight (188) feet to the true point of beginning, thence westerly for a distance of one hundred forty (140) feet.

  1. Passenger loading and unloading zone on the south side of Feliz Drive beginning at the west curbline extension of Simpson Drive with Feliz Drive thence westerly for a distance of sixty-five (65) feet to the true point of beginning, thence westerly for one hundred (100) feet.

  2. (Repealed).

  3. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a freight loading and unloading zone on the west side of Airport Drive beginning eighty (80) feet south of the curb return on Olive, thence southerly for a distance of forty-four (44) feet is established for that portion of the unincorporated area of the county.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading freight who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as "loading and unloading zone" is guilty of an infraction.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading zone is established on the west side of Mt. Vernon Avenue beginning at the southwest curb return on Ridge Road, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred thirty-five (135) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any portion of the street described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as a "bus loading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

c. The road commissioner of the county is authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained appropriate signs and to cause the curbs to be painted appropriately so as to give notice of said loading and unloading zone.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a passenger and freight five (5) minute loading and unloading zone along the south side of Texas Street beginning at a point two hundred seventy (270) feet east of the southeast curb return at Bliss Street, thence easterly for a distance of two hundred eighty (280) feet is established.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight who stops, parks, or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in subparagraph (a) of this subsection as a five (5) minute "loading and unloading" zone is guilty of an infraction.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a five (5) minute passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the west side of Loma Linda Drive beginning at a point four hundred twenty (420) feet north of the northwest curb return with Columbus Street, thence northerly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "five (5) minute passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the north side of Pioneer Drive beginning at a point one hundred twenty (120) feet east of the east flowline of Shalimar Drive, the true point of beginning, thence easterly for a distance of four hundred fifty-two (452) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established on the south side of Bernard Street beginning at the southwest curb return with Baker Street, thence westerly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a bus loading and unloading zone is established on the south side of Potomac Avenue beginning at a point of one hundred twenty-three (123) feet west of the southwest curb return of Potomac Avenue at Mt. Vernon Avenue, thence westerly for a distance of two hundred fifty (250) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus, when loading of unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  4. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the north side of Rose Marie Drive, beginning at a point two hundred forty-three (243) feet east of the northeast curb return with Castro Lane, thence easterly for a distance of two hundred fifty-six (256) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a loading and unloading zone is established along the south side of Center Street, beginning at a point thirty-eight (38) feet west of southwesterly curb return with Webster Street, thence westerly for a distance of twenty-five (25) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers (or freight) who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a passenger and freight loading and unloading zone is established along the east side of North Chester Avenue, beginning at a point three hundred eighty (380) feet south of the southeasterly curb return with Minner Avenue, thence southerly for a distance of seventy-five (75) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers or freight who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established on the east side of Sanford Drive, beginning at a point four hundred sixty-five (465) feet south of the southerly flow line of Woodrow Avenue, thence southerly for a distance of fifty (50) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "a bus loading and unloading zone," is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established on the south side of Hall Road, beginning at a point four hundred twenty (420) feet, east of the easterly flowline of Myrtle Avenue, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. (Repealed).

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the north side of Rose Marie Drive, beginning at a point two hundred forty (240) feet east of the northeasterly curb return with Castro Lane, thence easterly for a distance of two hundred eighty-nine (289) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the south side of Niles Street, beginning at a point two hundred eighty-nine (289) feet east of the southeast curb return with Fairfax Road, to the true point of beginning, thence easterly one hundred fifteen (115) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus-loading and unloading zone is established along the north side of Foothill Drive beginning thirty-two (32) feet west of the west gutter line extension of State Highway 184, thence westerly for a distance of one hundred fifty (150) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus-loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the west side of South Union Avenue beginning four hundred ten (410) feet south of the south gutter line extension of Belle Terrace, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the west side of South Union Avenue beginning one thousand twenty-five (1,025) feet south of the south gutter line extension of Belle Terrace, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred (100) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a bus when loading or unloading passengers, who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the west side of Victor Street beginning thirty-two (32) feet north of the north gutter line extension of Midsummer Drive, thence northerly for a distance of one hundred fifty (150) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the county of Kern, a passenger loading and unloading zone is established on the north side of Rose Marie Drive, beginning at a point four hundred (400) feet east of the northeasterly curb return with Castro Lane, thence easterly for a distance of one hundred twenty-nine (129) feet;

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "passenger loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the east side of Descanso Street beginning two hundred eighty-eight (288) feet south of the south flow line extension of Center Street, thence southerly for a distance of one hundred eighty (180) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the east side of Catalpa Way beginning one hundred sixty-eight (168) feet north of the north gutter line extension of Niles Street, thence northerly for a distance of one hundred seventeen (117) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a bus loading and unloading zone is established from seven (7:00) a.m. to four (4:00) p.m. Monday through Friday along the north side of McKelvey Avenue beginning eight-five (85) feet east of the east flowline of McCray Avenue, thence easterly a distance of forty (40) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a bus loading and unloading zone is established from seven (7:00) a.m. to four (4:00) p.m. Monday through Friday along the west side of Orrick Court beginning thirty-five (35) feet south of the south flowline of Haven Avenue, thence southerly for a distance of fifty (50) feet.

b. Any person, other than the operator of a vehicle, when loading or unloading passengers who stops, parks or leaves standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portion described in paragraph (a) of this subsection as "bus loading and unloading zone" is guilty of a misdemeanor.

  1. a.

Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, a bus loading and unloading zone is established along the west side of Fairfax Road beginning one hundred twenty-five (125) feet north flowline of Earl Avenue, then north one hundred (100) feet.

b.   1. North side of Segrue Road from the curb return on Santa Ana Street to the east, thirty (30) feet.
