10.54.005 - Road Closures by CHP.¶
The California Highway Patrol is authorized to restrict the use of or close Hudson Ranch Road, Cerro Noroeste Road, Mil Potrero Highway, Mt. Pinos Road, Cuddy Valley Road, Frazier Mountain Road, Lebec Road, Frontier Road, Lockwood Valley Road, Highline Road, Oak Creek Road, Woodford-Tehachapi Road, Tehachapi Willow Springs Road, Banducci Road, and Water Canyon Road due to snow for the protection of the public.

10.54.010 - Road commissioner's assistance to CHP.¶
The road commissioner is authorized, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 942.6, to exercise the board's authority under Streets and Highways Code Section 942.5, and the commissioner is further authorized to render assistance to and otherwise provide direction to the California Highway Patrol in its efforts to restrict the use of or close the aforementioned roads due to snow for the protection of the public.
