§ 2.35.010 STATE AID AUTHORIZED; TRAINING STANDARDS.¶
(A) The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Cal. Penal Code Part 4, Title 4, Chapter 1 (commencing with § 13522).
(B) Pursuant to Cal. Penal Code Part 4, Title 4, Chapter 1, § 13510(c), the City Police Department will adhere to standards for recruitment and training established by the State Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
(C) Pursuant to Cal. Penal Code Part 4, Title 4, Chapter 1, § 13512, the Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the City Police Department’s public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
