§ 2.06.010 APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE.¶
The Chief of Police shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the City Council.

§ 2.06.020 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.¶
Under general administrative direction, the Chief is responsible for all activities of the Police Department, which is charged with the enforcement of laws and regulations and the provision of round-the-clock protection of lives and property, and performs related work as required.
