§ 2.05.010 BOND REQUIRED.¶
(A) In accordance with Cal. Gov’t Code § 36518, the City Clerk and City Treasurer shall each execute a bond to the city prior to entering upon the duties of their offices.
(B) In accordance with Cal. Gov’t Code § 36519, the City Council by resolution shall require the City Manager, Director of Administrative Services and the Deputy City Treasurer to each execute a bond to the city prior to entering upon the duties of their offices.
(C) (1) All bonds required shall conform to the provisions of the Cal. Gov’t Code relating to bonds of public officers.
(2) The penal sum of each bond shall be in a minimum reasonable amount recommended by the City Attorney and fixed by the City Council, by resolution, and may be changed during their term of office.
(3) The current minimum penal sum is set forth within the succeeding sections of this chapter. Any premiums for such bonds shall be a proper charge against the city.

§ 2.05.020 CITY CLERK.¶
Before entering upon the duties of the office of City Clerk, such officer shall file with the Mayor of the city a bond in the minimum penal sum of $100,000, which bond shall have been first approved by the City Council.

§ 2.05.030 CITY TREASURER.¶
Before entering upon the duties of the office of City Treasurer, such officer shall file with the City Clerk a bond in the minimum penal sum of $100,000, which bond shall first have been approved by the City Council.

§ 2.05.040 DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.¶
Before entering upon the duties of the office of Director of Administrative Services, such officer shall file with the City Clerk a bond in the minimum penal sum of $100,000, which bond shall first have been approved by the City Council.

§ 2.05.050 CITY MANAGER.¶
Before entering upon the duties of the office of City Manager, such officer shall file with the City Clerk a bond in the minimum penal sum of $100,000, which bond shall first have been approved by the City Council.

§ 2.05.060 DEPUTY CITY TREASURER.¶
Before entering upon the duties of the Deputy City Treasurer, such officer shall file with the City Clerk a bond in the minimum penal sum of $100,000, which bond shall first have been approved by the City Council.
