10.72.010 - Notice of time and route required.

No parade or procession shall occupy or march on any street within the city unless written notice of the time and route of such procession or parade shall be given to the chief of police, not less than twenty-four hours previous to the formation or beginning of marching of such parade.

10.72.020 - Designation of route by chief of police.

The chief of police may designate the streets any procession or parade can occupy, and when so designated the officer in charge of such procession or parade shall direct the same only along the route designated by the chief of police.

10.72.030 - Establishment of parade lines.

The chief of police is empowered to establish lines on both sides of the street along the proposed route over which the parade or procession shall pass, and no person or vehicle of any kind except apparatus of the fire department responding to an alarm of fire, vehicles of the police department, public ambulances or vehicles of the United States government, shall pass over or through such lines.

10.72.040 - Driving through funeral processions.

No driver of a vehicle shall drive between vehicles comprising a funeral procession while they are in motion and when the vehicles in such processions are conspicuously so designated.
