10.24.010 - Marking and signing of one-way streets and alleys.

Whenever any provision of this code or any other ordinance or resolution of the city designates any one-way street or alley, the chief of police shall authorize the placing and maintenance of signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulations shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

10.24.020 - Obedience required.

In accordance with Section 10.24.010, and when properly signposted, traffic shall move only in the direction indicated upon those streets designated by the city council by resolution.
