10.48.010 - Establishment of crosswalks.¶
The chief of police shall establish, designate and direct the maintenance of crosswalks at intersections and other places by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway as follows:
Crosswalks shall be established and maintained at such intersections or other locations where the chief of police determines that there is particular hazard to pedestrians crossing the roadway.

10.48.020 - Manner of crossing streets.¶
No pedestrian shall cross a roadway at any place other than by a route at right angles to the curb or by the shortest route to the opposite curb except in a marked crosswalk.

10.48.030 - Obedience to traffic signals required.¶
Pedestrians shall obey all traffic signals.

10.48.040 - Standing in roadways.¶
No person shall stand in any roadway other than in a crosswalk if such action interferes with the lawful movement of traffic. This section shall not apply to any public officer or employee, or employee of a public utility when necessarily upon a street in line of duty.

10.48.050 - Standing on sidewalks.¶
No pedestrian shall stop or stand on a sidewalk except as near as is physically possible to the building line or the curb line at any place in any business district.
