2-96 - Established.

Pursuant to the provisions of section 233 of the Welfare and Institutional Code, there is established in the County of Butte a delinquency prevention commission.

2-97 - Purpose.

The purpose of the county delinquency prevention commission shall be to coordinate, on a countywide basis, the work of governmental and nongovernmental agencies engaged in activities designed to prevent juvenile delinquency.

2-98 - Designation of juvenile justice commission.

The juvenile justice commission is designated to serve as the delinquency prevention commission.

2-99 - Executive secretary; staff.

The probation officer shall be the executive secretary of the delinquency prevention commission and the probation department shall provide the necessary staff service to it.
