Butte County Municipal Code Ch. 47A Video Regulations for State Franchise Agreements

This chapter is enacted by the board of supervisors pursuant to the authority granted to it by Section 5900(c) of the Public Utilities Code. The board of supervisors shall enforce all of the customer service and protection standards as specified or referenced in Section 5900, but may not adopt or seek to enforce any additional or different customer service or performance standards.

For any material breach by a holder of a state franchise of the standards set forth or referenced in Section 5900 of the Public Utilities Code, the County shall assess the maximum monetary penalties allowed in Section 5900(d) of the Public Utilities Code at the time of the breach.
