43-1 - Fees charged for services.¶
The Butte County Public Health Department is authorized to charge, in addition to any other fees required by the County of Butte or the State of California, fees identified in Sections 43-5 through 43-17 of this chapter.

43-2 - Payment of fees required.¶
The fees specified in this chapter shall be paid at the time of the filing of the application or request for service. In no event will an application or request be determined or deemed complete and action taken thereon unless and until the applicable fees have been paid in full.

43-3 - Late renewal fees.¶
Late renewal fees for annually billed services shall be charged as follows:

| Payment received 31—60 days of billing date | 10% |
| Payment received 61+ days of billing date | 50% |

43-4 - Refund policy.¶
(a) Refunds may be made for all fees erroneously paid or collected.
(b) Refunds may be made for services not rendered. All refunds shall be less departmental costs (e.g., filing fee, plan review, inspection).
(c) No refunds shall be made for renewal fees or annual operational permits.
(d) Claims for refunds shall be submitted on Butte County general claim forms by the person who paid the fee.
(e) Claims for refunds must be made within one (1) year of the date the fee was paid.

43-5 - Food establishment fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Food Establishments shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-6 - Certified unified program (CUPA) fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Certified Unified Program (CUPA) services shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-7 - Land use fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Land Use shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-8 - Sewage disposal fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Sewage Disposal shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-9 - Water fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Water services shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-10 - Solid waste fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Solid Waste shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-11 - Public swimming pools fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Public Swimming Pools shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-12 - Miscellaneous fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for miscellaneous services shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-13 - Laboratory fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Laboratory services shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-14 - Immunization, test, and examination fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for Immunizations, Tests and Examinations shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-15 - Ambulance program fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for the Ambulance Program shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-16 - Tattoo and body piercing program fees.¶
Public Health Department fees for the Tattoo and Body Piercing Program shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-17 - Hourly rates.¶
Hourly fees for all personnel within the Environmental Health Division of the Public Health Department shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
This rate is subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.

43-18 - Public health general services.¶
Public Health Department fees for various general services shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule.
