2.54.010 - Faithful performance bond or governmental entity crime insurance policy for…

Pursuant to Section 726 of the Charter of the city of Vallejo, all officers and employees of the city of Vallejo shall be covered by bonds or a governmental entity crime insurance policy to assure the faithful performance of their official duties.

2.54.020 - Group bond or governmental entity crime insurance policy permissible.

The requirement set forth in Section 2.54.010 may be met by one blanket faithful performance bond or a governmental entity crime insurance policy in liability limits as set forth in resolution adopted by the city council, providing for the group bonding or insuring of all officers and employees in a position bond.

2.54.030 - Payment of premiums.

The premiums chargeable and incurred for the faithful performance bonds or governmental entity crime insurance policies required under the provisions of this chapter are a proper city expense under Section 726 of the Charter, and shall be paid by the city.
