2.41.010 - Creation.¶
There is created a Vallejo tourism business improvement district advisory board ("advisory board").

2.41.020 - Purposes.¶
The purpose of the advisory board shall be to make recommendations to the city council on the expenditure of revenues derived from the levy of assessments within the Vallejo tourism business improvement district.

2.41.030 - Composition.¶
The advisory board shall consist of five members appointed by the city council as follows:
A. Chairperson of the Vallejo convention and visitors' bureau board of directors,
B. Vice chairperson of the Vallejo convention and visitors' bureau board of directors,
C. Three members who are owners or managers of businesses paying the assessment under Chapter 14.50 of the Vallejo Municipal Code.

2.41.040 - Term of office.¶
The term for the chairperson and the vice chairperson of the Vallejo convention and visitors' bureau board of directors shall be concurrent with their term on the Vallejo convention and visitors' bureau board of directors. The term for the remaining members shall be four years. Each member shall serve until his or her successor is duly qualified and appointed.

2.41.050 - Members—Compensation.¶
The members shall not be compensated for serving on the advisory board, unless otherwise provided by ordinance or resolution adopted by the city council.

2.41.060 - Appointment of officers.¶
From among its members the advisory board shall appoint a chairperson and vice-chairperson. Each shall serve a term of one year or until a successor is appointed and takes office.

2.41.070 - Meetings.¶
The advisory board shall hold at least two regular meetings per year and may hold special meetings in the manner prescribed by state law. Three voting members of the advisory board constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. The advisory board shall make and keep a public record of its resolutions, transactions, minute orders, findings and determinations.

2.41.080 - Adoption of rules.¶
The advisory board may adopt rules for the transaction of its business.
