2.25.010 - Division established.

The San Luis Obispo County Division of Behavioral Health Services is established. This division shall be administered by the behavioral health administrator who shall meet the standards of training and experience as the state department of mental health and state department of drug and alcohol programs, by regulations shall require.

2.25.020 - Appointment.

The appointment of the behavioral health administrator shall be approved by the board of supervisors upon recommendation from the health agency director. The behavioral health administrator shall oversee and administer the division of behavioral health services. The position of behavioral health administrator shall be supervised and evaluated by the health agency director in accordance with Section 2.26.030 of the county code.

2.25.030 - Community mental health services.

The division of behavioral health services shall provide community mental health services as provided by the California Welfare and Institutions Code.

2.25.040 - Alcohol and drug treatment.

The division of behavioral health services shall include the subdivision for alcohol and drug treatment programs, which shall be administered in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code.
